We welcome all our alumni to this meeting ground and sincerely hope that your visit to this site will be rewarding. You may have been here at these institutions just a few years ago or a few decades earlier - but all of us are from the same breed - the GSites and the theme slogan "Who are we - GSites …." still goes on. Since your times, several things have changed - some for the better, others for worse. Those of us still here relish our past and look forward to the future, striving at all times to keep the GS flag flying high. Whenever old friends from GS meet nostalgic memories make us want to renew our ties with classmates and batch mates and with our Alma Mater.

One of the very reasons this website is in existence is so that we can interact with our alumni … about 10,000 of us .. all over the world. We now have a database in place so you can communicate with your long lost friends To be able to increase this list we request you to take time out to fill in the online alumni registration form if you have not already done so. For your convenience, we have made it possible for you to edit your previous profile. If you registered before June 30, 2004, you can get a username and password by sending a mail with your full name to websitecontact@kem.edu
We also urge you to become members of the G.S. Alumni Association by submitting this form. Members will receive notices of meetings and activities of the Association. Besides, membership of the GOSUMEC Alumni association gives you free access to the College Library which is reasonably well stocked with books and journals. Problems with conventional modes of communication and non availability of the current addresses of alumni had resulted in a gradual decline in the importance of this Association. It is up to all of us to get together and see how to wake this dormant giant from its slumber.

The Annual Dinner is one event where you could perhaps restart your association with your Alma mater. This is usually held in January. Advance information about the dinner will be put up on this site and we urge all GSites to attend in large numbers. Another memorable day where you can catch up with the institution is the Foundation Day program which is on January 22 of each year. The programs begin around 10.00 am in the morning in the MLT.

To enhance the prestige and glory of GS and KEM, we need your support in many ways. One most important step would be …. please keep in touch. …. We welcome suggestions and inputs to make GSMC and KEMH stand apart from the rest. We have all benefited, at some stage or the other, from the selfless contributions of our teachers and those who were students before us, both in terms of time and efforts. I am sure in the true GS tradition most of us now will be in a position 'to give' to our Alma Mater as much as we have got from GS as students or residents.

There is a lot each of us can do, individually and collectively, to help our institutions. What we value most are your suggestions. In addition, any contributions in cash or kind for existing or new facilities for students or patients will be welcome. Next time you are in Mumbai, or in Parel, please come to GS and see the ongoing activities. A few words of appreciation or constructive criticism from you are as valuable as generous donations.
