Research Projects and Special Achievements
Dr. S.S. Joglekar is appointed as a Co-ordinator for Teacher's Training Programme for Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik.
Dr. Joglekar carried out a Project on "Staff appraisal for Professional Development".
Dr. K. Radha Krishna Murthy has been invited to deliver a Guest Lecture at 10th Annual Conference of the Physiological Society of India, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banarash Hindu University, Varanasi. Three medical research articles of great importance to treat the poisonous Scorpian stings published by Prof. K. Radha Krishna Murthy, had been cited by Braunworlds. "Heart Disease" A Text-Book of cardiovascular medicine (1988, 1992 and 1997 editions). Dr. Murthy has published four research articles in various international journals.
Dr. L.N. Joshi conducts WELLNESS Centre to educate and motivate people for developing health promoting life styles. Dr. S.J. Kashalikar was awarded fellowship by the INDIAN COLLEGE OF GERONTOLOGY and a prestigious fellowship by ECFMG (USA). He won two awards and a certificate of distinction. He was felicitated many times at the hands of Mayors of Mumbai. He has published original research papers in International journals besides authoring and coauthoring over 30 books including of Text book physiology and a T.V. serial. He has delivered several guest lectures on radio and T.V. besides workshops and national conferences.
Project on management of small group teaching was carried out by Dr. Jyoti Bharadwaj. Many staff members are actively involved in number of co curricular activities such as MET Cell, Ethical Committee, Marathi Wangmay Mandal, Central Library, Student Teacher Cell etc.
