Description of Item: Tabletop centrifuge with refrigeration facility.

1. Equipment should be a tabletop centrifuge with refrigeration facility.
2. It should be electronically controlled, rugged in construction, quiet and vibration free in operation.
3. It should have user control panel with digital display for set and run parameters.
4. It should have settable sample temperature from at least +40C to ambient with accuracy error of at least 10 oC or better.
5. It should have user settable parameters like time, temperature and speed.
6. Timer requirement should be at least 1- 60 min and “Hold” mode.
7. Achievable speed: 20,000 RPM (at least) and RCF = 33900 x g (at least) for 24 x 1.5 ml rotor.
8. It should have a provision for door opening at the time of power failure.
9. Equipment should have safety features like over speed sensor, rotor imbalance sensor, door interlock, over temperature cut-off, etc.
10. Power supply: 230V ± 15 %, 50 Hz, ± 3%
11. 2 years comprehensive warranty and should provide technical support and required spares and consumables for 7 years after warranty period is over duly supported by their principles
12. Company policy about availability of composite CMC or AMC should be mentioned clearly
13. Requirement about Plug point with Ampere capacity should be mentioned
14. It should follow international standards / safety requirements.
15. Demonstrations compulsory
16. Training to MEC engineers / end users
17. Operating and detail service manual should be supplied
18. Tropicalization: Operating temp: up to 40 O C. Storage Temp: upto 60 o C, Relative humidity: up to 90% non condensing
